Chipotle announced they were having a buy one get one free deal between 3p-4p for a day. People started lining p around 2:00 to participate in the promotion. At about 2:40pm the manager at the Bronx chipotle shut down the store and did not open again until 4p. The manager then told the people who have been waiting in line for 2 hours that the promotion was over and they were not doing the buy one get one deal. What’s messed up is they knew they weren’t going to participate yet they did not tell anyone nor did they have a sign saying they weren’t doing it either. Since the kids have been waiting there patiently, shouldn’t they honor it anyways?

In the video, he's walking around screaming, "Back the fuck up or you're getting sprayed right now!". He is just firing the pepper spray in random directions down the street. There was no crowd, no physical threat, just an unhinged agent spraying a chemical weapon all around a neighborhood. And just so we are clear... Pepper spray is force. You don't get to deploy it because you feel tense, or want to intimidate a neighborhood. Force has to be tied to an actual, immediate threat. Spraying blindly down a residential street puts kids, families, and bystanders at risk. I completely agree. Tipping was originally meant to be something you gave someone to reward them for doing a good job. It was a way to show appreciation for good service, not something that was expected every time. Now it feels like tipping has turned into a way to pay workers instead of the employer doing that job. That responsibility should fall on the employer, not the customer. Personally, I would rather see restaurants raise the price of the food a little and pay their employees a livable wage. Then, if I choose to leave a tip, it would truly be a reward for someone who did an excellent job rather than something that is expected every time. And by doing it this way, people would be more likely to want to please their customers in hopes of earning a tip, which would also lead to better service overall.

As a waiter I sat there staring at my one hundred dollar receipt with a zero dollar tip next to it and I could not help thinking about how wild people can be 😒. Eating at a nice restaurant like it is nothing but acting like tipping is optional. The servers are running around all night carrying hot plates, refilling glasses, dealing with loud tables, smiling through attitudes, and somehow a person thinks leaving nothing is fine. If you do not have money to tip, why walk into a place you cannot afford 💁🏻‍♀️. Tipping should be automatic. It is part of the cost of dining out. People want luxury food with fast food effort. Meanwhile the servers rely on tips to pay their bills. They go home with sore feet and tired backs while someone who just enjoyed a full meal walks out leaving zero. It is embarrassing behavior. If you can afford the meal, you can afford to take care of the person who made the experience possible 💸. That is just real life. DO BETTER, TIP NO MATTER WHAT.🗣️🗣️🗣️ Credit: Patricia
