@JamesSurowiecki Well for 1 thing no one would have been able to hold up Fauci and his contradictions/lies as a paragon of pandemic expertise and virtue. He stifled all sorts of dissent, alternate treatments, data analysis, etc. His “I am the science” arrogance ruined lives and educations.

How would knowing that Covid came from a lab - assuming for the sake of argument that it did, and that we could know that with certainty - have saved lives? What would have been different about our response?
