"Trying to figure out what might happen next is exhausting and not particularly helpful in a quickly changing, volatile world. But keeping your eyes open for weak signals of things that are emerging in the present—that is vital work." - @jgberger leadership.tiny.us/balcony

"Leaving aside our humanity is not an option; using our humanity well, though, is. Loving is a choice as much as an element of luck... The best leaders don’t wait for connections to happen; they create opportunities for connection to happen." -@jgberger & Carolyn Coughlin

Hello @jgberger, I really enjoyed listening to your podcast with Sola on confronting your white privilege. Kudos to the work you're doing. At least, you aren't just listening, or talking. You're doing the little you can to make a difference.

@jgberger Thank you @jgberger! I'm thrilled to hear you're a fan of the other books on the list. I just started listening to "changing on the job" and loving it, and hope your new book comes out on audio too! Excited to integrate your great work into my teaching this Spring.

Revising my syllabus for first year EdD students for classes that blend improvement science, leadership, & practitioner inquiry. What are your favorite books that are not explicitly about continuous improvement or education, but help spread the mindsets/dispositions of CI?

The thing I love most about this gift from @PeteAwe at "How to be awesome at your job" is not simply (simply!) that it's an act of kindness and generosity. It's that it shows he's so stinking awesome at his job. I love integrity.

@rrtrent892 You saw it at a bookshop!? That is strangely thrilling for me. I hope it helps--I wrote it to help us all make better sense of our growing in this complex world...

@justavagrant_ Some of us go back years--some are pretty new. A couple of old friends and I had this idea and then invited everyone from Cultivating Leadership (@leadershipgrows). And glorious people decided to do it. We'll expand beyond these early folks and see what happens next!
