Laois IFA recently held a farm walk that focused on how to improve biodiversity on your farm. Ecologist/Botanist Dr Fiona McGowan led the discussion which was on Robin Talbot's farm in Ballacolla.

A very strong turnout at Laois @IFAmedia AGM in Abbeyleix this evening. Poignant to address the county executive of the late Padraig Walshe. A great farmer, a great farm leader from a great farming county. Looking forward to an engaging evening with the farmers of Laois.

Along with @SeanFlemingTD and @pippa_hackett pleased to @LiamDel15955115 and the Delaney family farm in Laois this morning as part of my #BackingRuralIreland tour. Liam runs an excellent and sustainable dairy and tillage farm where he uses solar energy to power the parlour.
