@MyGolfSpy I tried to watch twice. Both times I switched it off within 10 minutes. I found it unwatchable. Then again, I haven’t even tried to watch Tiger’s TGL thing. I’m good with regular golf. It has always worked for me, except for all the damned commercials.

@MidwestGolfJake I had the same issue. The problem for me was I was resorting to using a lofted wedge when perhaps a 9 iron would have worked better. Get the ball on the green and running to the hole, only using spin when it’s absolutely necessary. Old school advice that definitely works.

Chipping and pitching... Anyone else consistently come up 8-25 feet short on their chips and pitches? I've noticed I rarely get the ball to the hole when chipping, and I'm almost never past it. Given my current GIR stats I gotta fix this.

@MidwestGolfJake Same here. Longest iron is a 6. Then 28, 25, 22, 19 and 15 degree fairway woods. I’m getting old, so, if they stop working, they end up in the trunk. The 15 degree is on borrowed time.

I'm interested in hearing about the makeup of the top of people's bags. I'm always fascinated by the variety of fairway woods, hybrids and long irons people carry. Or Mini-Drivers??? My longest iron is a 6. I had 3 hybrids a 3 wood and a driver. What you got and why?

@chambleebrandel The coverage was great this week, even if the win by Rory felt somewhat anti-climactic. Rory does seem to be an even more rounded player. And he was certainly generous with his time after winning, even venturing back down to the 17th tee for that segment. He’s a class act.

My thoughts on Jay's presser 1. He seemed more relaxed and was less adversarial with the media, which was good to see. 2. Great to hear about the pace of play policy, but hope that it will include players names and times. 3. I get he can't give away a lot as far as negotiations go, but my lord its been three years, I feel like he could be more up front about what is happening, what is holding things up. Whether a deal will get done or not, I think the fans just want some transparency. 4. Seemed like a deal was not close at all (this is my take and fair or not, it goes back to number 3) 5. The dude can dodge a question better than Ali dodged a punch in his prime.
