@66blomqvist I think it’s a combination of Sato being that good and the rest of the drivers being pretty average around this place. I love Rahal and I see the talent in Foster and Schumacher, but none of those three have shown themselves to particularly be fast around this place like Sato has

Why is Sato so fast but the rest of the RLL cars are horrible I just don’t get it. Rahal has been fast at Indy before, how has he been so slow the last few years?

@f1capper @Hickey93 It’s really beyond silly that the track isn’t open right now for qualifying. You lose a whole day and then you create a new schedule that just incorporates dead time. Silliness.

@jgriner9 I took it the same way. You always hear about drivers risking everything in qualifying and they’re on the razor’s edge. Interesting to hear a different approach. And I actually agree. Difference between starting 6th or 15th isn’t HUGE, especially if you like your race car.

This surprises me, I had Ferrucci as a strong F12 candidate. Sounds like they might not REALLY go for it in quals today.

@GridEdgeHQ I think Collett may nave more natural speed in his car than Ferrucci based on only comments he’s made this week.

Does Takuma have a rocket again this year? Looks like RLL has made some improvements across the board, and that would definitely benefit Sato even more after he qualified 2nd last year.

Penske's not playing The top 3 in no-tow times and a full MPH ahead of Rasmussen in 4th. Great consistency too, all within 0.3MPH I'd be shocked if they weren't all in Fast 12 or even Fast 6.
