Hey, for those #Isles fans holding breath on Anders Lee somehow remaining on LI, let it go. Multiple sources confirm he will sign elsewhere. This has always been expected outcome since near the end of the season.

@islesmeetup_PIT Based on contracts, Darche’s assessment window was always going to be 2 years. When they were in a playoff spot, he showed the guys support by adding at the deadline without moving existing prospects, which I think matters to the ones in the room. Now stay the course and assess.

I’ve decided that I’m going to give Darche and DeBoer this season to figure what the future #isles roster needs. An evaluation period with a real coach I think will pay dividends for long term success. It’s gunna suck and Im sure I’ll get mad at times but it’s for better

I think the "C" goes to Horvat if Lee leaves and there's no real debate about it. Barzal doesn't wear a letter, and Schaefer will wear the "C" one day, but zero point to rush that.

@ehornick if MTL and VGK met in the final, would it be the first time two teams faced each other in different rounds of the playoffs where one of those rounds was the final? If not, when was the last time? I assume this is possible from other past situations of divisional changes
