We have tendered an offer sheet to Dallas Stars winger Jason Robertson. The offer is a six-year contract worth an average annual value (AAV) of $22.5M, which would require four of the Thrashers first-round draft picks in each of the next four seasons as compensation.

Dylan Larkin has indicated he will expand his trade list to include Atlanta

@MikeConti929 Can’t see it since expansion drafts have to be staggered. The city with a site ready to go has to wait 6-8 years? No

It's certainly possible that Atlanta could one day be in the plans for the NHL, but this announcement today seems to indicate that other markets are ahead in line:

Per @forsythnews Krause is preparing to break ground on his $3B arena and district in the near future. The announcement came shortly after the developers acquired a land disturbance permit on June 18, allowing them to start leveling the site.
