I gave everything to wake people up - to make sure this never happened again. How have you forgotten?

My daughter Isla was born right in the middle of my Senate campaign. One of the most competitive races in the country. And instead of staying out there campaigning, I took two months off. My wife had just been through an unplanned c-section. I wanted to be there for her, and for our newborn because being a husband and a father matters more to me than any campaign, or any job.

🚨The Islamization of Red-State Georgia 🚨 Shia Group Building Permanent Enclave in Lilburn While Republicans Stay Silent A Shia organization in Lilburn, Georgia is currently raising money to build a much larger, permanent religious center. They describe it as a “new permanent home” for their growing community and their mourning rituals. They’re calling donations a form of ongoing charity that will keep giving spiritual rewards. They already operate their own Shia cemetery in Lilburn, the first one in North America. They even brought real clay from the historic Jannatul Baqi cemetery in Medina, Saudi Arabia, and mixed it into the ground here in Georgia as a symbolic connection to the holy land. At the same time, they run weekly mourning gatherings where adults and small children rhythmically beat their chests while listening to lectures about a 1,300-year-old battle in Karbala. These events are part of their annual Muharram mourning period. They also run a Saturday school for children called DAISY that teaches Islamic laws, history, values, and Quran recitation. Funerals for their members are handled according to Shia Islamic rules under the guidance of Islamic scholars. This is not a small prayer group. This is the organized construction of parallel Islamic infrastructure inside a red state: A bigger worship and community center Their own cemetery system Religious education that includes Islamic laws for the next generation Constant fundraising to expand further Their community is growing, and they are openly building for that growth. More buildings, more programs, more permanent presence. Meanwhile, Republican leaders in Georgia have done almost nothing to slow this down. Some even celebrate this kind of development as diversity and enrichment. There is no serious pushback against the creation of separate "religious" systems that operate by their own rules and teach children Islamic laws instead of full assimilation into American culture. This is what happens when politicians turn a blind eye, or quietly help, while Islam builds permanent footholds in our communities. We are not just seeing different beliefs. We are seeing the steady Islamization of parts of Georgia through organized expansion, separate institutions, and the raising of a new generation inside this system. How much bigger does this have to get before anyone in power decides to actually protect Georgia’s culture and identity?
