@HuskersMN It’s going to be a few years but this will reset with a normalized playing field. College long term sustaining $50MM rosters doesn’t seem probable. Without private ownership the incentive likely fades. TV money would be different if only 10 teams competing & regionality.

Wanna help your kids? Give them their inheritance early. Help pay for their college, their wedding, their first down payment on a house. This will likely result in you giving them less money. But it will also result in you providing them more real value. Because a chunk of cash when your kids are 50+ won't benefit them as much as financial relief when they're 20-30.

@joshtweeterson Rhule probably not thrilled but can see the landscape & appreciate. Have to think CFB evolves again in the next 3-5 years with some form of collective bargaining, football carve out or something. Paying won’t stop but structure comes in therefore invest in needed infrastructure

@themoviedadsc Kind of a live look at what happens to ordinary 401K/IRA account when government wants to increase corporate tax rates or things of that nature. Sounds great in theory until you realize what it does to one of your largest assets and future access to cash it kind of sucks.

No jail, no punishment , nothing. The only outcome is more camera time and notoriety for the subject. Rinse & repeat

Like ballooning admin non-teaching jobs school, amount of TIF, urban sprawl instead of vertical maximizing existing infrastructure

@trentloos Global markets & dramatic increase in Brazilian production. Exports & $ of nuts from California down big. We import the majority of vegetables, coffee, avacados, etc. which are up big. Problem I see is too high level, search for soundbites when we know the answer is deeper
