@DrJenGunter After almost 2 weeks I am feeling better. I tested negative 3 times over 7 days for covid. After the initial 7 days I asked for abx for a sinus infection because I was just getting worse. My smell went out around day 9. So weird.

A week ago developed bitter taste in my mouth. Next day killer sore throat. Strep/covid negative. Throat got so bad I couldn’t drink for 24 hours. Had jaw and ear pain. Needed an IV and decadron. CT neg. Just slightly swollen tonsils. Pain almost gone. Everything still bitter.

we think of sexual infidelity as the worst thing someone could do, but i have seen men emotionally neglect their wives for years while she also does all of the domestic labor, and refuse marriage counseling. if he cheated, she could at least feel justified in leaving.

@DrNeenaJha The amount of people I saw today coming in wanting covid tests/concerns for covid exposure but no mask on. A positive pt was like what do I do about being around my family? Ma’am, it’s almost been 4 years. You should know this by now

Full heaving waiting room in Urgent Care People are coughing & spluttering over each other. The elderly, the babies, the healthy & the not so healthy… Not ONE person is wearing a mask Seriously after these 3 years have we learnt nothing?!

@DrGRuralMD Yup. Today was day 1 of the new school year for my kids. 2 hours in the nurse calls me and tells me my daughter is sick. I said we are going to the doctor for a note because we aren’t starting the countdown to court today! All jokes aside, she has strep. DAY ONE!!!

@MaddieMierMD I’m 35, rarely have HAs and have had 2 migraines in the past week with eye pain, nausea, dizzy. Tinnitus in one ear for about 4 months. I have absolutely convinced myself I have a brain tumor, AVM etc. no time to see PCP/ fear of being called crazy. Life of healthcare worker-NP

I have a terrible headache, so now playing my favorite game - Did I not sleep enough? Am I dehydrated? Is my ponytail too tight? Is it going to storm? Orrrrr do I have a brain tumor?

@LaraAHayes I’ve been a nurse for 13 years, 4 of those as an NP. I recently started doing utilization review. Things that I thought for sure would be inpatient are not. It’s a big learning curve.
