Senator Padilla chose disrespectful political theatre and interrupted a live press conference without identifying himself or having his Senate security pin on as he lunged toward Secretary Noem. Mr. Padilla was told repeatedly to back away and did not comply with officers’ repeated commands. @SecretService thought he was an attacker and officers acted appropriately. Secretary Noem met with Senator Padilla after and held a 15 minute meeting.

Democrats had supermajorities in both houses of Congress 2009-2011. They didn't pass any bills that cater to their victim groups, only a weak effort after the 2010 election when the Republicans win, in the few months before the 2011 session Democrats broke the cloture rules for Presidential executive nominees and lower court judges in the Obama years. And Mitch McConnell expanded the No Cloture rule in the later 2010s. Democrats also promised to eliminate cloture in this session if they won. But they didn't. They are full of shit always

We are not going to change our history, and the Bible is a major part of that.” The First Amendment literally says: “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.” This means that the government cannot favor when we religion over another. It was established by the Supreme Court in 1947 (Everson v. Board of Education)
