@NickHoopes_ Spoke with a “peer” from @AmbetterHealth (giving UHC a run for their money as the worst insurer). She’s licensed in Pennsylvania but wouldn’t provide her license number for “safety reasons”. I’m thinking, “If you weren’t screwing people over, there wouldn’t be “safety reason”!

I need to someone to explain me why: In order for me to provide PT services to someone in another state, I need to be licensed in that state (or have compact privileges) But the peer reviewer from UHC making medical decision on my patient doesn’t need an Ohio license. 🤡🤬

I added a $50k Life insurance policy on my wife to my home/auto plan today.
It had a $10/month premium.
By bundling it, my total premium dropped by $24/month.
I am now paying $168 less per year…
For my wife to have a $50k life insurance policy.
What an absurd system 🙃🤷♂️

Had an eval today who had attended a PT eval at local hospital system.
He had met his deductible. He couldn’t afford their care.
20% co-insurance.
20% at the hospital system for his eval: $56. ($280 bill)
His 20% with us:
$17 ($90 bill)
Guess who’s labeled non-profit 🙃

Nothing helpful comes from telling a patient:
“This is the worst (insert arthritic joint/postural term) I have ever seen”
Unless, of course, it is.
In which case, you still probably shouldn’t tell them that.

@Wendi_Irlbeck Very moving moment in our church this morning. A terminally ill woman professed her faith in Christ and was baptized! This was followed by her 12 year old grandson doing the same - following her lead!!! Heaven is rejoicing!!!

@jhausmann Pretty much all the new JD Xseries mowers come with the accel deck.
It’s compatible with the mulching kit but slightly different than the 7 iron decks they have on their commercial zero turns
