@djbk25 Yeah, turned up at the back of a garage. John Hackett put the wrong front sprocket on the bike so only had first, second and third gear but still came second 😏The NEC bike show was fun with all the northerners throwing cans of Boddingtons at me 🤪🥺🤣

More very sad news in the bike racing world 😔 Broadcast legend Chris Carter has died. He was responsible, among many more important things, for my career in TV! A man with a sharp intellect, sense of humour and a toughness of opinion. His nickname for me still sticks!! RIP Chris

@chazdavies7 Rider safety is paramount and your group did absolutely the right thing, it is such a shame that each and everyone involved didn’t hold fast and stick together, historically that is the usual outcome, sometimes for selfish reasons or pressure from teams/manufacturers. Stay safe👍
