During National Public Service week and every week, I am committed to elevating a culture of service in our state. And when I signed our SERVE Act into law, Maryland became the first state in the country that will offer a service year option for our young people.

In a historic commitment to the LGBTQ+ community, the New Britain Common Council unanimously endorsed the Equality Act this evening with the passage of the annual pride resolution. New Britain becomes the 1st CT municipality to have its legislative body endorse this legislation.
