@mitchellh Terminal-dot-app is still the only one I've ever used that handles Arabic-script text nicely.* It's actually insane that it works, and I've long wondered who's responsible, why is it this way, etc. * WezTerm also had decent support for a while, but I think it's been walked back.

I've been trying to find the person(s) responsible for macOS terminal for years. I know culturally it's not their vibe, but I'd be more than happy to make libghostty a great base for a better Terminal app. If anyone from Apple is reading this, hello! jobs.apple.com/en-ca/details/…

Every laptop I've used for several years, the screen gets scratched by the keyboard (this one is absurdly scuffed after just 6 months), because they just can't bear to have a millimeter of space in there. (Insult to the injury of the keyboard being awful just so it's flat).
