Attorney General Pamela Bondi
Hate speech that crosses the line into threats of violence is NOT protected by the First Amendment. It’s a crime. For far too long, we’ve watched the radical left normalize threats, call for assassinations, and cheer on political violence. That era is over. Under 18 U.S.C. § 875(c), it is a federal crime to transmit “any communication containing any threat to kidnap any person or any threat to injure the person of another.” Likewise, 18 U.S.C. § 876 and 18 U.S.C. § 115 make it a felony to threaten public officials, members of Congress, or their families. You cannot call for someone’s murder. You cannot swat a Member of Congress. You cannot dox a conservative family and think it will be brushed off as “free speech.” These acts are punishable crimes, and every single threat will be met with the full force of the law. Free speech protects ideas, debate, even dissent but it does NOT and will NEVER protect violence. It is clear this violent rhetoric is designed to silence others from voicing conservative ideals. We will never be silenced. Not for our families, not for our freedoms, and never for Charlie. His legacy will not be erased by fear or intimidation.

@WarOnDumb I don’t disagree, but your email says the Dept of Education provides funding for school meals. It’s the Dept of Agriculture that does that.

@atrupar Yes, you can use speech in order to get someone to commmit a crime, and it’s constitutionally-protected.

CHUCK TODD: If he had proof he won Georgia, why did he threaten the secretary of state with a criminal charge? LAURO: That wasn't a threat at all. That was an aspirational ask. TODD: You're not allowed to use speech, though, in order to get somebody to commit a crime

Trump lawyer John Lauro on Meet the Press: "The defense is quite simple. President Trump believed in his heart of hearts that he had won that election, and as any American citizen, he had a right to speak out under the First Amendment." (Jack Smith agrees!)

This is your reminder that as awful as the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were (and they were absolutely horrific in human costs, short and long term), they almost certainly cost fewer lives in toto than the invasion of Japan would have, in both military and civilian lives.

@jimAlabama @Neoavatara @TPCarney Yes, of course. But in the imagined scenario, I would *not* be intentionally killing the innocents. It would be a foreseen but unintended consequence of my action. That's what the doctrine of double effect is all about.

@TPCarney @Neoavatara I believe I can formulate a variation of the trolley problem for which you will justify the deliberate and direct mass murder of civilians.

@Neoavatara @TPCarney No, but the actors should care how they acted. That's the point. Never intentionally kill innocent human beings. If this isn't bedrock for you, you're a compromised human being.

@AmericanFietser This is near me, in a biotech research park. It’s labeled with some key genes along the way. People walk it during lunch, and a few people bike it. If you want to walk or bike in a straight line, the road next to it rarely has cars.

@LoneDeranger__ @philip_hart @historyinmemes I don’t think you do. What’s the cardinality of an infinite number of planets? What’s the cardinality of every possible shape of a planet? The latter is greater than the former, so there aren’t enough planets.

Based on the principles of physics, it is theoretically possible for a planet to have a donut-shaped structure. To maintain the stability of a donut-shaped Earth, it would need to rotate at extremely high speeds, resulting in shorter day durations. Consequently, the gravitational force at the poles would intensify, approximately twice as strong as at the equator. The Moon would continue to orbit the Earth, as long as it maintains a sufficient distance. If the donut-shaped Earth has no tilt, the inner edges would receive no sunlight, while the outer edges would experience increased sunlight exposure, leading to significant temperature variations and extreme weather conditions. However, if the tilt remains unchanged, both the inner and outer edges would receive adequate sunlight. It is worth noting that a naturally occurring donut-shaped planet is highly unlikely unless advanced extraterrestrial beings decide to create one.

@JonahDispatch I grew up in Ohio in the 70s. I had friends go there in the 80s. I went there for grad school in the 90s. I have friends who are Buckeye fans. I know no one who calls it The Ohio State University.

I get why OSU grads obsess about including “the” in The Ohio State University. But, if they’re so adamant about it being part of the name, why don’t they say “TOSU” instead of “OSU”? I’ll take my answers off the air. twitter.com/realcleared/st…

What kills me about thia narrative that al trumpets prob once a month, is that when media refers to atlanta, they will tell you over 6 million people live there. Which is true of the metro. But only about 500k live in the city limts. Al has at least an agenda of hate for bham and at worst a racist agenda. Bham has metro of 1.2 million. @randallwoodfin needs to work with county to end this agenda of @aldotcom It damages the whole metro.

@PoseyThomas32 @MikeCasonAL Huh. I know a random Chinese family, permanent residents, but not US citizens, wanting to purchase land. But I must be wrong, since you said no such Chinese are doing that.

@jimAlabama @MikeCasonAL That’s correct, but random Chinese citizens aren’t purchasing land, it’s CCP connected companies. If someone want to settle in America I seen no problem having them become a citizen before purchasing land. I haven’t read the final bill but the one I did read…. Cont.

@MikeCasonAL This tweet is a little misleading. Chinese companies with connections to the CCP have been purchasing large amounts of land including farm land. This isn’t aimed at Chinese citizens that have come to America to live.
