Abortion is legal in California. It will remain that way. I just signed a bill that makes our state a safe haven for women across the nation. We will not cooperate with any states that attempt to prosecute women or doctors for receiving or providing reproductive care.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Sir Ken Robinson died peacefully yesterday, 21st August 2020, surrounded by family after a short battle with cancer. We will be following up with a further update as we begin to follow Sir Ken’s wishes and honour his legacy.

Last year, @SenWarren and I introduced our Student Loan Debt Relief Act. Cancelling student loan debt would provide a much-needed boost to our economy and would provide financial relief for millions of Americans.
