@FowlesMurphy @MichaelAArouet America IS at fault for part of our slow growth. The tariff war is wrecking our economy, mitigated somewhat by some tariffs not yet kicking in (cusmca, etc.) Apart from China, Canada, being a big trade partner of USA, is one of the first countries to be hit hard.

Wow, it's quite an achievement for Canada to have had even lower growth than Germany during the last decade. Germany has done almost everything humanly possible to ruin its economy. How has Canada been able to beat that?

@mikemcintyrewpg IMO he was different. Looking YoY, 63 GP last year, 2.00 GAA, expected 2.64. 3741 ice time. 39 GSAx. This year, 57 GP, 2.86 GAA, 2.96 expected, 3401 ice time, 5.5 GSAx. Not saying it's his fault, team didn't play well, but I thought there were a few more softies allowed this year

Then all of that collapsed to the point where perfetti is the only draft pick since 2017 playing on the roster all season. That’s a brutal stat for a team that needs to be that team.

They signed two old forwards who hurt the team more than they helped, and continued to play them in spite of that fact. Meanwhile our young players who had a positive impact in limited minutes barely sniffed the roster.
