@GergelyOrosz How are you supposed to do a week long trial for a new job when you still have an old job… take a week of vacation? Use an “AI agent” to keep doing your old job?
Funny you should ask: the full remote companies not having issues with this setup are the ones doing week-long work trials (paid).
These are as good as they get in doing the real work… because it’s doing the real work!
Downside is it’s a week of commitment. We had these short interviews to avoid exactly this.
But perhaps long work trials will spread more now!
From an eng manager at a full remote company:
"We just fired an engineer after ~15 days on the job who lacked basics skills on the job but aced the interview - clearly, using cheat tools.
He admitted to how he did it: he used iAsk, ChatGPT and Interview Coder throughout"
@StGeorgeBank This is not acceptable. Even if I do login the interface is being rendered incorrectly. I wouldn’t trust it at this point in time. Do better!
That moment of the afternoon before a major Powerball jackpot is drawn, where everyone in the nation can briefly believe they might be about to become a millionaire… maybe.
@buzz_clik Have you thought about releasing your PETSCII creations in a way that someone could make a game from them? I’ve thought about the robots featuring in a Paradroid-style game
