I’m completely removed from the draft landscape this year and don’t care who is better between Mendoza or Simpson.
But I will say that when a national analyst of this magnitude goes so far out of their way to promote one player while downplaying another, it’s because there is a motive to do so (i.e. connection, relationship, agreement etc.).
It’s the same promotion as Mac Jones in 2021 and, irrespective of your opinion on the QBs, it’s best taken with a grain of salt.
