Interested to see how the split occurs between these 2/3 guys. At the end you'd probably want at least 4 guys for deep midfield + some academy guys maybe. Currently you only have 1 good option going into next. Ideally would want at least 2 good ones on top + a rotation guy

This is the issue with talking about xG or any stat in silos. xG accumulation under Amorim was largely due to high number of shots when chasing games. Our xG/shot taken was low & given was high, indicating low quality chances created & big chances given. Carrick has fixed latter.
