@JishSwish We fought the lightning on 18 and barely made it in as we all sprinted up the fairway 😂
English

@tomandmartys I enjoy them as well. For some reason people care and it is hilarious
English
@JishSwish I always enjoy the responses when I post my yardage.

@MidwestGolfJake @andrewjcarr29 @BryanTweed16 Florida has 6 events, Texas has 5, California has 4. How about we take away one of those 🙂
(TPC TC is bad for a pro event fwiw)

Chicago deserves an annual PGA Tour event, but not like this.

🚨👀⛳️ JUST IN — Golfweek reports that the PGA Tour has asked John Deere to move its tournament from its longtime home in the Quad Cities to Chicago. Thoughts on the potential move?
English

@JishSwish @Cade4ISU Have you tried hitting it to 2 feet on 18 for eagle?
I have found that tap in eagles help a lot
English

@_consistentgolf @MitchSchwartz71 Oh yeah half this app isn't satisfied until we're playing hickories and balatas again
English

@MitchSchwartz71 Oh. You haven’t found the true purists yet
I promise, the driver head being too big is definitely an issue on this app 😂
English

@CaddieEver @MidwestGolfJake Not mine no. Great course down in Marshalltown, IA
English

@JishSwish @MidwestGolfJake Is Elmwood your home course? What Midwest city is that in?
English

@CaddieEver @MidwestGolfJake New one is Elmwood in the middle but yes the pink one is a dragon!
English

@GolferHD @MidwestGolfJake Now that is a crazy wait. Never seen that before tho myself
English

@JishSwish @MidwestGolfJake OK if you close maybe, but what if you can’t come within 100 yards?
English

I do not believe the etiquette part here is whether or not you can actually get the ball onto the green. I have turned around to look many times at a ball I heard land that was never getting to the green. Can be distracting if you're putting. Personally wouldn't bother me but people do everything they can in this sport to avoid any and every distraction possible so I think it's pretty fair to wait if you can get it close
English

@MidwestGolfJake What about people that have no chance of hitting the green in 2 on par 5’s but wait anyway?
English

@cbadair21 They all "count". Hole in one isn't really about the count tho. There are a few other shots you can hit that are more impressive/ difficult than a hole in one. The cool part about hole in one's are the stories that accompany them. The number/count is meaningless, really.
English

@paraparaumupaul @ryanmouquegolf OP said nothing about chatting and said having smash burgers at the turn (a way to cook a burger), not "smashing burgers". You are pretty far off here my friend
English

@JishSwish @ryanmouquegolf Read the original post. It was all about chatting and smashing burgers.
English

I don’t mind a 5hr round if im out there with mates having a good time, laughing, eating smash burgers at the turn & have no other commitments for the day
🙂

What golf opinion makes you feel like this?
English

You are not holding anything up if you let them play through. There are multiple ways to do this to limit any extra disruption in pace. But I agree if you're slower because you're chatting and not playing that's much different than being slower because of how you are playing. I play a lot of golf i don't usually see slow play because of talking tho
English

@JishSwish @ryanmouquegolf 5 hours is not fine, never was fine, never will be fine. You are holding people up, even if you let them through. And it impacts the whole field. If you want a chat and a burger do it in the clubhouse after your round.
English

@CuriousAussieX @ryanmouquegolf 5 hrs is fine if you get out of the way. 5 hrs is not fine if people behind you are playing faster than that and you don't let them play through
Pending golf course rules on pace, of course
English

@JishSwish @ryanmouquegolf I wouldn't recommend playing golf in the UK or Australia if you think 5 hrs is fine. They probably wouldn't let you finish
English

I don't think so. That's assuming people can just play any time they want which is unrealistic. Just get out of the way if you're slower than the people behind you, morning or afternoon. That includes people playing at a 3.5 hr pace and there's a 3 hr pace behind you. Just get out of the way 🙃
English

@JishSwish @ryanmouquegolf Different tee times should have different pace timing. Morning = fast and it gets slower as the day goes.
You wanna play fast, pick the fast lane. Don’t care, book that afternoon slot.
Supply/demand dictates price too!
English

@Jonny_Fairways @ryanmouquegolf Pride and people thinking there's only one pace to play (their own) are the main problems. Not counting issues with course scheduling/routing obviously. There should be a lot more 4-somes letting other 4-somes play through but I think people feel pretty embarrassed by that
English

@JishSwish @ryanmouquegolf Yes! It’s a one lane road. If you want to drive slow, pull over occasionally to let the people behind you pass.
Don’t act like it’s a challenge to your masculinity or some prideful thing… stop and smell the roses for a bit and keep it moving… or pick up the pace. Either way.
