@terminallyOL Every time he has "helped" the heroes, it was part of an evil plot, twisted it to his own advantage, or got derailed because of his ego at the cost of EVERYTHING. At least three of the most doomed arcs/events in Marvel media involves Doom being a egotistical dickweed.

I never understood this mentality because, even ignoring that animation is a medium not a genre, who do you think makes the cartoons? More importantly, who buys the bulk of books, toys, etc.? Kids may be the majority now but adults were always there and where it all started.

@MysticalMe337 A few of the characters like Gambit, Shang Chi, and Val do have connections magical items. Thus, them wanting the objects not the title works. Wanda's claim of title can be defined by her keeping them via the Vishanti twists her words into a challenge.

Low blood sugar probably talking...but now I think, in a weird way, it would have made more sense and be more interesting if Wanda claimed the SS title then got bum-rushed by this cast instead of Agatha. You could still have Vishanti be dips by allowing the free-for-all.

@MysticalMe337 True but you can have varied goals. For example, some of those characters could just want the eye or cloak and not the title per se. If we going with logic objects ≠ SS, Wanda can kick off the scenerio and have to defend/prove she can hold out.

@MysticalMe337 @616stephenvs My theory is that only one person can go through Downfall's portals at a time. When Angela tried to go through, it snapped close. Although Angela thinks Stephan left her behind, it didn't feel intentional.

My theory is that the gateway was opened by the mysterious killer entity Downfall, since Stephen reopened it. But, it's also probably only there because Downfall is now on Midgard, hunting powerful mages, which is why the portal opened in the Sanctum

@hexluck_ Respectfully, the plot of SS #1 is a cookie cutter coming to power story. Any story about taking a title or a throne can slip into these story beats especially if its an irregular transition. May be timing suspicious but this is not convincing.

@hexluck_ lore/home/supporting cast, since Prime Magus is a new thing in the DC universe. If anything, it's more similar to Stephen's stories than anything, and even then, there's a lot of uniqueness
