@DavidAFrench If you read the comments it’s hard to believe until you remember how state sponsored misinformation works. If I wanted to destabilize the west and American democracy I would spare no expense with AI bots to churn out criticism of its institutions—especially its courts.

Good for Justice Roberts. The judiciary does not answer to the president, and it is not required to bend to the president's will. A presidential election is irrelevant to judicial reasoning, and Trump's victory did not change the meaning of the Constitution or of American laws.

My thinking: Most profs w/o PhDs will start the tenure-track as bar members, but maintaining a membership is expensive (and sometimes has CLE requirements) and I don't know how many schools pay for a prof's membership. I'd guess few keep it up. And profs with PhDs might at some point have bar memberships, but often won't.

This was an interesting poll result on whether law professors are bar members. It's surprising to me, though, if it's accurate: I would guess that most professors these days are not active bar members. Especially w/the PhD-ization of legal academia.
