Proposals from the competition committee will come out next week. These can be voted on by NFL team owners at the league meetings at the end of the month.

There are only two teams that submitted resolution proposals this year: Pittsburgh and Cleveland. The Steelers wish to make permanent a rule that was tried out this year, and the Browns wants picks to be able to be traded 5 years out instead of 3.

The Philadelphia Eagles are trading for Panthers veteran QB Andy Dalton, source tells @NFLonCBS. The Panthers recently added Kenny Pickett to the depth chart and find a taker for Dalton.

"I didn't see [EDC] for five hours." - He said the energy was off when he finally met Minter and EDC, who informed him that one of the doctors had concerns w/ his knee and was going to get more opinions. - When Crosby went back to the hotel, his agents told him that they think Baltimore will back out of the deal. - A member from the Ravens called Crosby and said they were going to get the deal done. Five minutes later, Crosby receives a call from his agent, saying Baltimore has backed out of the deal. - "No one will ever admit what the real truth is. Ultimately, it doesn't matter. I am where I'm supposed to be," Crosby said.

Malik Willis is a true leader. This is probably going to be a long season for the Dolphins, but they have a QB with broad shoulders. That will be crucial as the season wears on.

The Dolphins have traded away some valuable assets and gotten out of some bad contracts in the past 6 months. Time to hit on the picks in 2026, compete (but not win too much) and then hit on picks again in 2027 before truly contending.

The Denver Broncos are trading for Dolphins WR Jaylen Waddle, sources tell @NFLonCBS. The Broncos tried for Waddle at the trade deadline in-season and now land their target.

No one made more in performance based pay in 2025 than Bears DB Nahshon Wright. He more than doubled his own salary.
