BREAKING: Google is planning to release 32 million mosquitoes across Florida and California. The company has asked the EPA for permission to proceed, with the public given until June 5 to respond. The mosquitoes are infected with Wolbachia bacteria, which stops them from reproducing and slowly collapses the wild population from within. Google's previous Debug Project trial in California's Central Valley nearly eliminated mosquitoes from three test sites entirely. A separate trial in Singapore cut dengue cases by 70% within 12 months. Google has now released over 1 billion mosquitoes across four continents. This new proposal is the largest deployment in US history.

Many projects now rely on AI audits to support development. If you’re building an AI audit product, drop a comment and introduce it — share its advantages and how to use it. This will get your project seen by more core projects in the Sui ecosystem. 👀 #Sui #AIAudit #Web3Dev

built an AI agent that does my work research every morning scans X, finds trends, drafts posts, pushes them to my queue cost: ~$3/day on Claude API replaced: hours of scrolling + a $200/mo tool stack I didn't build a tool. I built the service layer. old economics: $50/mo software, $3k/mo person to operate it. 98% of the cost was the person. Sequoia's data backs this (read below) for every $1 on software, companies spend $6 on services to make it work. AI agents collapse that gap. you pay for the outcome, not the seat. but I got the hard part wrong. tech was easy. my agent took a weekend. the hard part is trust. will I publish what it drafts without reading it? not yet. do I trust it unsupervised? no. that's the gap every "AI will replace services" take misses. accounting firms carry liability. consultants take the blame. staffing agencies are the legal employer. the value isn't the work. it's the risk transfer. so when people say "AI will disrupt consulting and audit", I'm skeptical. those industries aren't expensive because the work is hard. they're expensive because someone has to sign their name and carry the risk. AI can't do that. sectors without regulatory moats (content, research, lead gen) are getting commoditized to $3/day. the middle is getting crushed. big firms build AI internally and keep clients. solos use agents and compete on price. "agency powered by AI" has the worst of both: higher overhead than solos, less trust than incumbents. winners won't sell AI services. they'll sell judgment. the agent does the research. the strategist decides what it means. you're paying for the decision, not the work. my agent handles inputs. I handle outputs. not trying to replace myself. trying to 10x my leverage.
