Positive: If UK doesn’t get Stokes, I’d worry about the top-end talent. But if you land: Freeman Rancik Wilkins That’s a team with a great deal of potential. The team in November shouldn’t look anything like the team in March, which would be somewhat similar to some other Calipari teams. That group would give you plenty of young (with multiple years of eligibility remaining), proven players with a lot of upside who are still just scratching the surface. I wanted UK to be so loaded this offseason that it had a top-five roster. That’s not happening, but an entertaining regular season is still very much on the table if this staff can close with these guys.

Kentucky will try to get Zoom Diallo wrapped up today. If that doesn’t happen, then I will start to be a bit concerned UK had two different recruiting plans based on whether they ended up with Wright or Diallo. But they have to get one

Malachi’s hands in this last 4 weeks or so have just been not good. He drops or loses a lot of easy opportunities and it’s been pretty consistent That was a huge missed opportunity that led to a 4 point shift in score
