Keep this dude away. Respectfully. What he did to Liu Kang and sidelining him when he is the main main character of MK should disqualify him immediately. You have to at least know who your main character is in the franchise

@kr1shnaaustin It embraced everything batman, the mythical nature of the bat, the martial arts, just like how Superman embraced the whimsical world of superman and over the top child like, boy scout-iness and goodness of the character. Superman allows Gunn to ground a little bit or go crazier

@kr1shnaaustin It had all the makings to go fantastical. Also, that bat glider is just peak. The destruction at the end was also an excuse for renovating to add more neon lights in that Gotham for more color. The movie was dark and could have gone horror in sequels and still would have worked.
