So this happened today... bit.ly/3FGcdmO Incredibly honored to be part of the 2022 cohort. I'm grateful for my colleagues, who inspire me to be and do better every day, and for my students (both past and present), who make the teaching life worth it.

There is a lot of debate about taxes, infrastructure, etc. But I sure wish we could all align around *this* not being ok. Instead of constantly treating the symptoms of societal issues, let’s start treating the root cause. Early childhood education is an equalizer. (Source: OECD)

To teachers across the country, as we end this unprecedented school year: You’ve been vital sources of knowledge, support, and comfort for students, parents, and your community. I’ve seen it and experienced it with my own kids. Today, and every day, we say thank you.

It’s been a big week for me! I officially graduated college with my Bachelor degree on Tuesday, and today I got accepted to the University of Maine’s Masters of Education in Instructional Technology program! I might have taken the long way to get here, but I’m so happy I did!!

Money matters. On average, a $1,000 reduction in per-pupil spending reduces average test scores in math and reading by 3.9 percent of a standard deviation and increases the score gap between black and white students by roughly 6 percent. ednxt.co/31bHbQ4
