@brytfarms We use white ones that have an “x” cut in the end on our Urban Feeder. Get them through our dealer.

Is there any other options for calf feeder nipples than these yellow one's? Milk comes too fast for new calves imo

Unfortunately the Food Professor at @DalhousieU is determined to pit consumers against farmers. Very disappointing to see when so much bridge building could be done in such a position.

@Royridgefarm @DalhousieU This is the point I wish more understood (outside the industry). This is his livelihood. It isn’t about facts, collaboration, educating or even being correct. It’s about exposure.

As a dairy farmer, I want to set the record straight that we aren’t recieving $300000 a year from the govt in Trade Compensation. Very dangerous someone with such a platform is committed to spreading such disinformation. This is pattern unfortunately from this source.
The Food Professor@FoodProfessor

Each dairy farmer, including you, is getting at least $300,000 a year from taxpayers in "trade compensations". Dairy farmers have not lost one cent due to trade deals. But politicians can't do math, which is why you're getting all that free money. Please, stop complaining.

Land meant to grow food and feed Canadians is more precious than gold. Building homes on the #GreenBelt is based on political favours not common sense. No country can be rich & feed itself if it gives its most valuable land for agrifood to developers. The definition of greed.

When #NSAC became @dalagriculture the Alumni dedicated a bench to remind all us our past. The bench is located in a prominent location on the Cobequid Trail on the river side of Jenkins Hall. This evening 2 of us Alumni took on a project to tidy up the bench. #before #after

A terrific letter by Bryan Maynard of Farmboys Inc. on positivity versus negativity and how farmers are portrayed in public discourse in PEI, co-signed by a number of Island farm families. This appeared in the April 21, 2021 edition of the @PEIGuardian
