Big bang TGEs are dead The new playbook: Wait until there’s adoption, or launch small and accrue value over time I analyzed TGEs from the past 18 months for our Safary Certification program, comparing launch mindshare to token performance today Almost every hyped TGE cratered within 48 hours The ones that held up were quiet TGEs with steady believers Take Virtuals - most people don’t realize they TGE'ed a year *before* the AI meta The past few years have rewarded pessimists and punished believers But if we design incentives that reward the protocols building real adoption and fundamentals, the believers may just finally win

Life update: I've moved into an advisory role at @KaitoAI! I joined Kaito 2 years ago in the early days of Kaito Pro - the team was already heads down building at the intersection of AI + crypto. Given my background in data + research, I was naturally drawn to their moat in social intelligence - pioneering concepts like "mindshare," indexing vast amounts of data, and later (pretty unexpectedly) venturing into the social layer. Kaito has grown a lot since the early days and I am immensely grateful and will always respect @Punk9277 and the team for always being open to experimenting with what's possible in the space, and will still continue to ideate and brainstorm ideas with Kaito. As for what I will do next, I'll be focusing my time on going all into AI + robotics, speaking to new teams and spending time understanding where China + US tech paths are converging. I am also particularly interested in how tech + creativity can converge, and what new forms of expression and building become possible when they do. Will spend some time exploring new ventures. If you are working on something in AI and think that there are ways we can be synergistic, reach out! This is quite possibly the most exciting time to be building - and I am very stoked to chart the path of what's ahead. :)

I was impacted by layoffs at Optimism today I'm grateful for the 5 months working on protocol scaling across the OP Stack with the Scaling Summit at ETHDenver as my top highlight I've been building in crypto since 2019 and don't plan on stopping Open to PM roles and consulting in protocol scaling, staking infra, and custody 🤙

Went down the rabbit hole on vibe coding apps We’re now in a world where you can erase the question: “Can I build this?” But honestly, Building was never the real constraint The real constraints are: - Finding a real problem - Finding people w/ that problem - Distributing the product to them

I just built a Claude Code SEO agent that replaces your $200/mo. Ahrefs subscription 🤯 One prompt → keyword gaps found, competitors mapped, content written in your brand voice, rankings tracked on autopilot. All inside Claude Code. Perfect for DTC brands and agencies who know SEO matters but never have the bandwidth to actually do it consistently. If you're paying $200/month for Ahrefs & SEMRush, opening it once to export a CSV, then closing it until next month... This agent runs the entire loop for you: → Connects to Google Search Console and pulls your real ranking data → Finds your "gap zone" — keywords at positions 5–20, one article away from page 1 → Uses Apify to scrape who's outranking you and exactly why they're winning → Interviews you once about your brand, customers, and positioning → Writes content in your voice — not generic AI output that tanks after 90 days → Tracks rankings weekly and feeds what's working back into the next cycle No $200/month tools you barely open. No freelancers writing content that sounds like everyone else. No manually checking rankings and forgetting to act on it. What you get: → Keyword cards with a specific action recommendation for each gap zone opportunity → A competitive breakdown — who's beating you and the exact fix for each keyword → A weekly content plan generated from your real GSC data → A brand voice profile Claude uses for every article it writes Built 100% in Claude Code with Google Search Console. Full playbook is on GitHub — skill files, brand interview, and the exact weekly workflow. Want it for free? > Like this post > Comment "SEO" And I'll send it over (must be following so I can DM)

@jkey_eth I'm not seeing this directly across my network, but I am hearing rumbles of potential consolidation. If you're talking SaaS tools? Same. The only major acquisition has been Fireblocks getting Tres, which was a good get.

I'm hearing of many crypto accounting firms getting acquired lately They look like boring businesses, but they're some of the only companies that actually know which wallets belong to the same user The value isn't the accounting, it's user data There's a lesson in that

Some of our best hires were totally unqualified on paper. They always had the same qualities: entrepreneurial, high agency, smart, mission aligned, and they got shit done. If you’re hiring, especially in early stages, seek out & bet on these people. Don’t over-index on resumes.

“I have absolutely no business doing this job.” That’s what I remember thinking after rereading the job description right before an interview. I almost cancelled because I felt so unqualified. At the time I’d spent 6+ months after college trying to break into tech as a liberal arts major. Applied to literally everything. They interviewed 100+ candidates, and I was their top choice. Ended up being their first hire and it jumpstarted my career. The founders have pinged me every year since asking me to join them again. Resumes aren’t the signal

Twitter killing CT might be the best thing that ever happened to crypto marketers Everyone keeps saying "marketers are crying about the death of CT and InfoFi" What are you talking about? Marketers are ecstatic! The only people crying are the extractors who planned to raise on the next narrative instead of building anything Give these marketers a real job and see what happens

Life update! After 4.5 years, I'm moving from CMO to a strategic advisory role at Hype. I've had a front row seat to 212+ crypto companies here and the space is now at a crossroads I want to be closer to. Institutional “adoption” is lending credibility, defi primitives have proven pmf, and AI is reshaping how we live and work. It’s been exciting to explore what this all means I'm proud to have seen Hype grow since joining in 2021: - Team size doubled - 4 awards won by our creative and campaign teams - 13 service lines built and running - 71% revenue CAGR across multiple market cycles - Watched talented people grow into heads of departments, VPs, and senior leaders <3 This will be an epic year for the company and clients. There's no better crypto go-to-market partner than Hype. Growth marketing and distribution is one of the most in-demand needs right now, and the team is fully primed for it. More to come soon on what the AI team has been building As an advisor, I’ll still be contributing to launches and strategic calls. Beyond that, I’m taking space to think, learn, and go deeper on how to best build towards the future I want to live in
