After three years off this platform, I'm back on because of what's happened at @washingtonpost and what we're trying to do about it at @CityCast_DC. We're going to start hiring journalists immediately to make sure DC continues to have great, useful, ambitious local journalism...
I subscribe to @washingtonpost for many things, including local news. I have @nytimes.com for coverage of international, art, and national news. But what about local? Will @CityCast_DC or @wcp hire these reporters if we move our subscriptions to them?
What’s the plan for local DC media since it appears the Washington Post won’t be a major part of it?
