Good for Bitcoin but not good for me since I am all in $STX
Hopefully Stacks will take the lead with Nakamoto
Trust Machines@trustmachinesco
Before Ordinals, there were only 4-5 Bitcoin L2s. After Ordinals, there are over 85 Bitcoin L2s. Our COO @RenaPShah thanks Ordinals creator @rodarmor for kickstarting the new builders culture on Bitcoin 👇

@aphillyatd420 It’s a Supreme Court issue, abortion isn’t on the ballot yet leftists push the narrative That it is.

POLL: If the #Republican Party stopped being so hardline on abortion rights and let women decide for themselves like the rest of the policies they make...
DO YOU believe it would bring in a whole new demographic of voters? A bunch of people that switch from the #democrats ?

Excited to share our work on BitVM bridges: A novel trust-minimized protocol to bridge Bitcoins to second layers.
Huge thanks to @lukas_aumayr, @alexeiZamyatin, Andrea Pelosi, @zetavar1, and @matteo_maffei for their amazing contributions 🧡

@btc_skull @Ryder_ID Yeah you can cold store stx with ledger, they don’t Support stacking or defi wallets yet
English

It’s a nearly identical security Model except tBTC doesn’t inherit bitcoin finality, for peg ins it means sBTC takes 1 confirmation and tBTC takes 6 i think.
The largest difference comes from cost of attack. You would need 70% of all stacking control which comes to ~0.5 billion to attack whereas threshold is 15-20 times lower than that.

@btc_skull @Ryder_ID is shipping their product soon. They are trying to integrate Defi But bot sure when That will be

Tap will always be dependent on the team oversight, you can’t build smart contracts for governance and incentivize validator staking rewards in any automated and decentralized way. It’s a proof of team protocol. Also the validator sale is an unregistered security sale so I hope they avoid legal trouble.

Fractal identifies itself as L2 so wrapping is fine. probably gonna be much better than evm ones for now for Bitcoin
Does Tap require wrapping or bridging?
Excited for what arch has to bring.
Would you say arch is closer to L1 than others?
Was thinking op_cat would be the ultimate enabler of better defi experience on bitcoin.
English

@dr_dripto @btc_skull Merlin is a multisig, fractal is a separate POW hashrate sidechain. Stacks inherits bitcoin finality and re org resistance unlike any of the above protocols. Several years ahead of any competition imo.
That doesn’t mean it can be the only winner but for me it’s the best R/R

@louiseivan @Stacks @Ryder_ID @QuentinSaubadu Will Ryder connect to leather or Xverse and be compatible for defi txns right away also? Or is that something coming later on?

@naiivememe Community notes:
ETH also know as Ethereum never hit $5000 in 2021.

Wow, I honestly think no better time for a WBTC competitor to come in quickly.
BitGo@BitGo
BitGo is pleased to announce the move of its WBTC business to the world’s first multi-jurisdictional and multi-institutional custody via a unique partnership and joint-venture with BiT Global. This upgrade will occur 60 days from today with no disruption or interruptions to the service. WBTC clients will continue to benefit from the same quality of service that WBTC has provided the community since 2019. Read more: blog.bitgo.com/bitgo-to-move-…

@picato_tap @btc_skull The Indexing is good for the adoption of L1 meta protocols but there is no economic incentive tied to the $trac token. No revenue is generated.
English

@jksats @btc_skull How does decentralized indexing and oracle is not unique for BTC I wonder
English

@TheCryptoLif7 They can enable it on their POW sidechain but it doesn’t have anything to do with OP CAT on Bitcoin itself.
I hope it sets a good proof of concept example that makes Bitcoin core devs see the opportunity 🙏
