I'm conflicted on Xitter On the one hand I think it's important for democracy to continue talking with our opponents, and not turn them into enemies. On the other hand the parasitic lifeform that has eaten "conservatism" alive and burst out of its chest has now made its nest on Xitter. And is feeding here on the deranged minds of tens of millions of Americans who no longer seem able to discern reality from fantasy. So I understand the desire of most sane rational humans to retreat to the mothership and nuke it from orbit. But as a critic of scifi I have a relatively high tolerance for delusions and fantasy. So I will stay on X for now to study the MAGA xenomorphs and identify potential weaknesses.
