My friend just sent me this photo of her wedding dress and I'm honestly heartbroken for her right now. This gorgeous dress is made entirely from her grandmother's vintage tablecloth and fabric pieces - all those delicate lace details and flowing layers tell the story of family dinners and Sunday gatherings. When her grandma passed, she had this romantic vision of wearing her legacy down the aisle. She was so proud of it, so excited to honor her grandma this way. Until her sister saw it at the final fitting yesterday. ""You look like you're wearing a dusty old curtain,"" her sister said. ""It's giving grandmother's attic, not bridal elegance. People are going to think you've lost your mind. You're going to regret this in every wedding photo for the rest of your life."" Now she's completely second-guessing everything with just a few weeks until the wedding.
