So happy for Jose Franco.
I think he can help this team in short outings. I’d expect him to piggyback one of Burns, Lowder or Williamson for 3 inning outing.
Cool for him to make the OD roster, regardless.

@Nicholaspkirby It seems the final roster decision including Lowe in the big league team and option Hinds and Bleday was the more reasonable and logical. The Reds have a strong left hitter on the bench who can start at times in Lowe. Louisville is benefited too now...

Reds made the right decision. Cutting Lowe would have been a short sighted move.
Feel bad for Hinds and Bleday. They did everything and more to earn a spot. Everyday AB at AAA will be good though.
I guess this is a small taste of what it feels like to be a Dodgers fan!

Nathaniel Lowe has made the opening day roster and JJ Bleday and Rece Hinds have been optioned to AAA. Lowe hit .270 in 37 at-bats with 3 home runs and a .979 OPS this spring.

Sal Stewart has had the exact spring you were looking for. He has made the transition to first base (he can also be the backup at second). He has hit, like he always does. He's using the entire field. He has had some ticker tape homers. And his base running has been very impressive.
