@RowdyRrunner Definitely! Students can benefit from the online survey tool as they can use it for other courses to help support their research or for personal usage such as business analysis. I've used this tool at work to conduct our annual end-of-the-year surveys. 📨 #mktgfiasco4000

Today we dove into an intro to Qualtrics which is an online survey tool where users can build and distribute surveys, collect responses, and analyze response data. I can see this being a useful tool for me in the future if I consider starting my own business. #mktgfiasco4000

@samyuxd Hi! This is awesome! This can be beneficial for students as it highlights the importance of how to plan your survey, write good questions, how to test and improve your survey, and lastly how to analyze and report your results. I will keep these steps in mind! ✍️#mktgfiasco4000

I wasn't able to attend this week's class session in person but I greatly enjoyed hearing the discussion on how we may use surveys to create perceptual maps. The elements were a bit difficult to understand 🫣 yet it's now one of my favorite topics covered! #mktgfiasco4000

@therealkileyy Hi Kiley! I thought Tableau would be complicated when I saw that we would be exploring the application this week. It was surprisingly easier though 🫣. I had fun and wanted to see what else I could change without necessarily changing other things. #mktgfiasco4000

This week I was introduced to Tableau, which is a data visualization platform. This platform can be useful in gaining more insights into marketing data. I was surprised with how easy it was to use compared to Excel when looking at avocado sales in different cities #mktgfiasco4000

I learned a lot of different ways to interpret and analyze our data from this week's class session. It's easy to get lost but breaking down what we want to find and making connections between the data have made it easier for our group to arrange our project. ✍️ #mktgfiasco4000

Based on the discussion video, a question that arises is what could we do better to keep up with all the changes we make to our data? How do we know what available options we should utilize or are there any packages I can download? ✍️ #mktgfiasco4000

I'm excited to see the topics my classmates will be presenting. 🤗 In particular, I look forward to seeing which labs would they follow to collect their data. It's quite challenging figuring out how to step up our experiment but we're slowly getting there. #mktgfiasco4000

Watching the A/B testing video, made me realize how much we fail to keep up with the changes we make in our experiments. It's so easy to lose track! 😵‍💫 We need to be more attentive to interpret our results appropriately. #mktgfiasco4000

Overall, I want to learn more about how to interpret my data correctly. I get a bit lost looking at the different elements. I want to tell a story but I got to first understand the characters. #mktgfiasco4000 🙃

Tonight's class was quite challenging. Our group decided to follow the approach we did for the stocks for our project. Figuring out what to adjust went well. We got to see the differences that were occurring between the companies we selected. #mktgfiasco4000 🤓

@therealkileyy Hi Kiley! I also thought the lab this week was quite interesting. It was a bit challenging but I had fun. Adjusting the codes or colors is way simpler compared to Excel. 🙃 #mktgfiasco4000

I thought the lab we did this week was interesting. It was cool getting to see the code needed to build histograms and getting to mess with the colors of the bars. I struggle with getting two separate mean lines on the graph for the different types of avocados. #mktgfiaso4000

This week's assignment was challenging but overall it was a great learning process. I learned additional functions that R provides & how to adjust data sets. It was cool to see how I could redesign the style of the graphs by changing the color or descriptions. 🤗 #mktgfiasco4000

As @therealkileyy mentioned, I greatly enjoyed how R Markdown allows us to make subtle changes to our data without transforming the whole graph. It's difficult to do this in Excel as it tends to change other parts, and from there, it becomes a whole mess. 😵‍💫🙃 #mktgfiasco4000

It was surprising to see how many products or services are tested in the city of Ohio before launching in other stores across the nation based on this week's discussion video. I wonder how many of those products or services are now in any local stores? 🤔🫣 #mktgfiasco4000

@RowdyRrunner Awesome observations! Bivariate analysis provides a great use to marketers. They can observe the relationship between two factors. However, marketers hit a curb as it doesn’t consider other factors that may influence the relationship. #mktgfiasco4000

I learned this week that a bivariate analysis can be used by marketers to make decisions about their pricing strategies, advertising strategies, and promotion strategies among others and generally used to find if there is a relationship between two variables. #mktgfiasco4000

@therealkileyy 100% agree! There’s a variety of things marketers must consider to make sure they utilize the appropriate technique. Knowing exactly what they want to find will allow them to find the best marketing strategies. #mktgfiasco4000

This week’s class sessions reminded me of BA 3010 and showed me how I can apply that knowledge in the terms of marketing. For example, how to know which marketing techniques are working the best. #mktgfiasco4000

After this week’s class, I’m excited to see what other data sets we will be conducting on R Studio. The codes make it look very complicated but it is starting to look quite simple. Just need to memorize what they mean. ✍️✍️ #mktgfiasco4000

Like @RowdyRrunner stated, it was interesting to see how we can edit & alter codes on the plot in this week’s discussion. 🤗 I thought it would be complicated but it’s surprisingly simple. It was also cool to see how we can find the meaning of certain codes. 😱✍️#mktgfiasco4000

Something that surprised me in this week’s reading was that less than 40% of marketers utilize consumer research to drive decision 🫣. As marketers, we advocate for the customers - it’s a big part of our overall strategy. It’s surprising that many don’t research! #mktgfiasco4000

@therealkileyy Me and you Kiley! I was also nervous as I had previously used R Studio in my statistics class. I had quite some trouble understanding the tool. However, I feel more at ease after completing our "About Me" 🤗. Looking forward to learning more about the tool! #mktgfiasco4000
