Update: Alabama guard Aden Holloway has been *granted* his motion to travel out of state by a Tuscaloosa district court judge, per court docs. Alabama plays Michigan tonight in the Sweet 16.

Don't forget there were actual media members who saw the Holloway news and thought - after not practicing and without being cleared to return to school - he was going to same-day travel to Chicago and play tonight.

@DarkoStateNews Obviously different cases and you know that. Mazi wasn’t charged with a felony until 2 months later (and also got that dropped later on). Holloway was immediately charged with 2 felonies. Maybe more similar to Chris Rucker suiting up 2 days after getting out of jail…

Michigan had a football player arrested on felony weapons charges and suit up 2 days later.
The player was never punished and didn’t miss a snap.
And they all defended this.

There is no bigger distortion of what really happened - and what was ultimately reported - than Miller's "involvement" with the Miles case.
Awful initial reporting by AL.com led people to believe a BS narrative and nobody bothered to research it further.

Would be very on brand for Nate Oats to fly out a suspected drug dealer to play in a game. This is a guy who is completely devoid of ethics. Remember he didn’t suspend a guy a second who provided another player with a weapon that resulted in the death of a pregnant woman.
