Denver is on pace for its deadliest month and quarter on record. At least 10 homicides were recorded between July 1 and July 20, according to CSI analysis. If the current pace continues, July would end with an estimated 16 homicides, setting a new monthly record. Mayor Johnston talks about his "improvements" in Denver, but the residents who are living it tell a different story. Homelessness has displaced into the surrounding suburbs, crime higher than before but not being properly reported to fudge the data, & businesses leaving the city core.
