I just love how this teacher incorporates simple learning tools to help kids think about and show their knowledge. Notice the different colors each student is holding…we all notice different things, even when reading the same book. ❤️🖤💙 #1LISD

@TheRealMrsMeeks @Parkside_ES @GinaFreemanLISD Yes! I’ve used this method for several years. I’ve even done a “match” activity where half the class gets the Qs, the other half the As, and they have to try to find their match. 😊 way more engaging than sit and get! #BOY #reaganrays

I had to miss today’s 1st day back bc of my grandpa’s funeral, but my amazing teammate @HowardHoppers made sure I still had all the fun, Flat Stanley style!! 😂 can’t wait to have the greatest adventure with her and the 2nd grade team of #reaganrays this year!!!

@Carson_Parkside One of our favorite stomping grounds when we lived in that area. I used to take my two older girls there frequently and just let them explore. So beautiful and peaceful.
