NEW: This was apparently the first time the National Weather Service has ever issued a warning for DVD-sized hail. A DVD represents a diameter of 4.75-5 inches. I measured about 4.75 with a stone that had melted for 20 minutes, and noted a couple of approximately 5 inches.
