🚨🇺🇸🇨🇳“US-China Peace is currently IMPOSSIBLE”: The 2 Corrupt American Mindsets That Guarantee Total Failure 😫 Absolutely illuminating commentary. Oriana Skylar Mastro, a leading China security expert just inadvertently exposed what I have come to believe are the two most critical points that are absolutely crippling for U.S.-China relations — and they place 100% of the blame on Washington’s corruption and hubris. Here they are: 1. THREAT INFLATION: Threat inflation is systemic corruption in U.S. policymaking, whereby actors with financial stakes deliberately exaggerate China’s benign capabilities and intentions to sustain exorbitant defense budgets, as evidenced by the annual trillion-dollar U.S. military appropriation, revolving-door lobbying between Pentagon officials and defense contractors, and think-tank analyses funded by military-industrial interests. Feel free to target search through my 40k+ tweets of countless examples of bad faith U.S. political actors, Sinophobic fear-mongering, and “CHINA BAD” out right lies.
In contrast, China practices threat deflation through pragmatic realism—allocating a far lower share of GDP to defense, emphasizing “peaceful development” over militarized competition, and pursuing win-win economic initiatives such as the Belt and Road Initiative—which the U.S. could emulate by mandating independent, non-partisan audits of threat assessments and redirecting resources from confrontation to cooperative infrastructure and climate projects; yet U.S. structural corruption ensures such emulation remains impossible, rendering Chinese restraint irrelevant and cooperation hopeless. 2. ZERO-SUM GAME MENTALITY: Zero-sum game mentality defines U.S. national-security doctrine as a winner-takes-all posture that precludes diplomacy or coexistence, once an actor is labeled an adversary—as China formally is—rendering any positive behavioral change irrelevant to its designation for containment or obliteration, as illustrated by the immutable “peer competitor” label irrespective of democratic reforms, the demand for permanent military supremacy despite Chinese concessions, and the rejection of multipolarity in favor of perpetual U.S. hegemonic primacy. In short, in every scenario, no matter what CHINA does, the U.S. will always type cast them as the ENEMY.
In contrast, China pursues win-win multilateralism that accepts every nation’s unique civilizational path, refrains from exporting its political model, and upholds a strict non-interference principle that prohibits coercive leverage over other states’ internal affairs—which the U.S. could follow by abandoning ideological conditionality and engaging in pragmatic, sovereignty-respecting partnerships—yet American hubris and the doctrinal commitment to absolute dominance guarantee that even total Chinese accommodation would still be met with escalation, placing the entire burden of failed cooperation squarely on U.S. intransigence. If the U.S and China are ever going to establish a lasting PEACE, the U.S. will have to find a way to wholesale abandon these two debilitating concepts. Share your takes in the replies and retweet!

BREAKING: Elon Musk's baby mama reveals that he used "space technology" in the 2024 election and implies that he STOLE it for Donald Trump. This deserves a full federal investigation by Democrats... "In October, Elon tells me that he is ready to release his, in his words 'anomaly in the matrix' And I am like, oh, like, who's that? And he says that he has 10,000 lasers in space, referring to his satellites," said Ashley St. Clair, one of the many women whom Musk has impregnated and then promptly began treating like dirt. "I say, because I am like, rather uncomfortable, and I know the gravity of what he's trying to tell me right now. I say, 'Wow, finally, a focus on the Jewish vote. He keeps going," she continued. "And he says, you know, this is not something on, this is not a piece that they'll see on the chessboard." "And I straight up tell him, I say, I would ask more, but I really don't want to be deposed, to which he says, very wise," she added. The implication here is clearly that Musk was doing something illegal and that St. Clair wanted plausible deniability. "Shortly after that, you know, he's involved with AmericaPAC and all of this other stuff, and he's sending me some internal data from AmericaPAC, real time delta vote metrics," recounted St. Clair. "And I am just like, how the f*ck do you have this sort of data? You don't get this from door knocking, because that was my first one of my first jobs in politics was in campaigns and cleaning up this bad data from door knocking, because the vendors that AmericaPAC is using at this point is a vendor that hires Craigslist crackheads for door knocking. And I wish I was exaggerating there, but I'm not." St. Clair said that she now recognizes that she "caused harm" with her "rhetoric" when she was leaning into being a far-right persona, but claimed that she only ever wanted what's "best" for America. Clearly, she feels that she can no longer in good conscience remain silent on 2024. "And one thing is I have always, always hated big tech," she said. "So then to have arguably the most powerful man in the world, who is sending me things about, you know, using his space technology in the election. I should also say that I have all of this backed up with many people with explicit instructions, should anything happen to me, okay." "But this was something that I was internally wrestling with, while publicly not really showing that I was having any of these internal ethical conflicts with myself regarding this information," she went on. "And then on election night itself, Elon, you know, left Mar-a-Lago early. I was at Mar-a-Lago and he told me, he told me over text, he's like, 'Yeah, I knew hours ago that Trump won. My team has the best real-time data anywhere,'" said St. Clair. "First of all, how the f*ck do you have real-time data on elections?" she continued. "How do you have real-time data? I could not understand that. I don't know that I ever will. I just, I saw some shit, guys. Like, I saw some shit and I'm fighting really hard to keep my voice because I saw shit that impacts everyone. And if I was self-interested, I have been offered the self-interested deal to shut up and not talk about anything. But what I can tell you is I've not been offered certain deals just because I know that he's weird." "Okay. I saw some shit," she concluded. This woman must be immediately subpoenaed to testify before Congress under oath about the "shit" she saw. If Elon Musk — who spent $291 million to help Republicans during the 2024 cycle — really used his technology to illegally interfere in our elections, he must be prosecuted and imprisoned. And if any votes were tampered with, the election must be overturned! Please ❤️ and share to demand a full investigation!

Why is a section of Indian media in awe of white-skin- Western media since last 50 plus years? Why does a section of the Indian media carry intense inferiority complex? Let’s grow up. None of the Delhi-based diplomatic editors are invited to write columns for the edit pages of American or European dailies on ‘America’s irreversible blunders in Iran’ or on ‘British mismanagement of the immigrant policy.’ @nytimes , @washingtonpost , @guardian @atlantic @latimes @thetimes or @dw_chinese etc etc don’t need Indian media’s views or opinions of India-based analysts but we need them. Even Hindi dailies carry them dutifully. Why can’t India-based diplomatic analysts write, for the Western mainstream audience, on ‘why America should not violate sovereignty of Cuba’? Yes, Western editors do ask our writers to write on India, lack of freedom in Indian media, treatment of minorities. That’s good but we remain unequal. One question in press conference in Europe or an inconsequential comment from an American or European media makes a splash in New Delhi. Indian dailies offer valuable space on edit pages and time of our readers to the Western media as if they are maharajas and we are ‘poor Praja’ dying to hear their views on Muzaffarnagar and Murshidabad. The American press won’t give prominent space to hear our views on why is ICE detrimental to America’s future. Actually, they don’t care. The Indian media’s struggle against the government’s pressures and curbs must go on, that’s a separate issue. But, we need to realise that our views have no value in those country who regularly take Indian government and the society to task. It’s an unequal exchange and biased control over flows of ideas. Respect is neither mutual nor equal. In New Delhi those who are mesmerised by the Western media needs self confidence. All the ‘Western/foreign dailies’ and their views on Asia including India should be treated as ‘valuable input’ in our understanding of the world events and trends. That’s all. No need to worship them.

Mike Johnson is gaslighting the country by acting like the Strait of Hormuz crisis is some random act of nature. It’s not. Trump launched a reckless war of choice after being warned by the Joint Chiefs that it could shut down the Strait and hammer the global economy. He did it anyway. Now Americans are getting crushed at the pump and at the grocery store because this administration chose ego, escalation, and political theater over common sense. These “kitchen table issues” aren’t unavoidable. They’re the direct fallout of a disastrous foolish decision made with full warning of the consequences.....

Ukraine’s liberal intelligentsia - largely protected from the draft itself - has become the ideological manager of a highly militarized and oppressive state. What they defend in practice is a Western client state marked by controlled corruption and a heavy far-right presence across the security apparatus, while political and intellectual elites continue to thrive on the blood of working-class people. “We must choose the model of a nation-army,” said Yaroslav Hrytsak. “Everyone must fight; mobilization and war must become part of national identity, and military service should shape future career prospects.”

🇷🇺🤍🇨🇳The President, for the first time for this China visit of his, chose to address our Chinese friends with a video message ahead of his trip rather than an article or an interview in the Chinese press (the President traditionally writes an article for the press of his destination or gives an interview to the press of his destination ahead of his state visits). The video message was shared by the Kremlin on May 19, 2026 at 03:00 Moscow🤍 time. I am sharing Sputnik's beautifully subtitled video here but here is the text of what the President says in his video message in case you are also someone who can process information better (like me) only when you actually READ IT and THINK about it : Greetings Dear Chinese friends! I am delighted to visit Beijing once again at the invitation of my longtime good friend, President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping. The regular exchange of mutual visits and the holding of Russian-Chinese talks at the highest level constitute an important, integral part of our joint efforts to develop the entire spectrum of relations between our two countries and to unlock their truly boundless potential ("potential" in English is потенциала/ potensiala in Russian, did you know that?) Let me remind you that 25 years ago, Russia and China signed the Treaty of Good-Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, which laid a solid foundation for forging truly strategic interaction and a comprehensive partnership for the benefit of our countries and peoples. Indeed, Russian-Chinese relations have currently reached a truly unprecedented level. Their distinctive nature is manifested in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and trust, a readiness to cooperate on mutually beneficial and equal terms, to engage in respectful dialogue, and to provide mutual support on issues affecting the fundamental interests of both countries—including the protection of sovereignty and national unity. (Sophia: "интересы" / interesy in Russian is "interests in English) Russia and China look confidently toward the future and are actively developing contacts in the political, economic, and defense spheres, expanding humanitarian exchanges, and fostering people-to-people ties. In other words, they are working together to do everything that serves to deepen bilateral cooperation and advance the comprehensive development of our states. Significantly, it is precisely these issues that will constitute the agenda for the upcoming negotiations in Beijing ("Pekine"). I sincerely value Chairman Xi Jinping’s commitment to long-term cooperation with Russia. I believe that our warm, friendly interactions help us outline the boldest plans for the future and bring them to fruition. ("планы "/ plany in Russian is "plans" in English) Thus, Russian-Chinese trade turnover continues to grow, having long since surpassed the $200 billion mark. Mutual settlements are conducted almost entirely in rubles and yuan. Major initiatives are being implemented in key areas of cooperation. Following the successful conclusion of the Cross Years of Culture, the Russian-Chinese Years of Cooperation in Education were launched in January—marking the tenth such interstate project in the humanitarian sphere. I would like to note that in Russia, we hold China’s centuries-old history—as well as its achievements in culture, the arts, and science—in high esteem. Furthermore, we are keen to see our peoples draw closer together, gain an even deeper understanding of one another, and embrace all the finest elements found within the rich traditions and heritage of our two countries. 🇷🇺🤍🇨🇳 & 🇨🇳🤍🇷🇺 Therefore, we welcome the introduction of a reciprocal visa-free regime between our countries. This not only facilitates increased business and tourist exchanges but also opens up new opportunities for interaction and the establishment of contacts between the citizens of Russia and China. ++ 1/2 #Russia 🤝 #China

Italian war reporter Francesca Mannocchi: “What Israel is doing in southern Lebanon is, quite simply, no different from what Russian troops have been doing in Ukraine. It’s the same thing... Since 2022, have we ever read a headline saying “Putin is building a security buffer zone in Mariupol”? No. We’ve always called it what it is: a military occupation. Yet when Israeli troops do the exact same thing in southern Lebanon, but we call it a “security buffer zone.” That framing clearly shapes perception. We are talking about the same dynamics, the same methods, the same displacement of civilians, the same destruction. And yet, on one side it is widely seen as a war crime; on the other, as a legitimate security operation. So why the difference? Because in recent years there has been a gradual erosion in how international law is perceived and applied. And it has its convenient enemies. Putin is an easy one: no one would seriously argue that the Russian Federation is a democracy. Israel, on the other hand, continues to be described, and accepted, as a democracy, even when that label is increasingly contested. Why? Because this implicates us. While we no longer feel allied, morally or politically, with Russia, many in the West still see themselves as morally and militarily aligned with Israel.”

This is Qana in South Lebanon today. An ancient village with over 3,000 years of history — where Jesus performed the miracle of turning water into wine. Israel is wiping it off the map. Not a peep from the “civilized world.” Not a word from the “international community.”
