Over the past couple of years I have become a bit of a @Cloudflare fanatic. The products... the dev experience... the scale... the global footprint... the mission. Just love it. And this week I have unlocked bias level: Cloudflarian. Very excited to help build a better internet!

I got very excited about Claude this anthropic that, enough to bother getting Positron and forking out for the Anthropic API code to run Claude. And yet I constantly get the below types of messages, anytime I try and interact with the chatbot. Doesn't seem seamless!

Got the new Windows 11 update, and I have to say it's pretty handy to know what I'm going to download tomorrow

positron (@posit_pbc) is a great especially as an iteration on rstudio but oh man the startup time/idle load is annoyingly bad? feels like an area that could be dramatically improved.

Disappointed in @Apple quality today. I have a 2013 MacBook that still works. Today, I learned that my 3 year old, $3,500 MacBook has a failed logic board and Apple recommends "recycling" it. It's 3 months out of Apple Care. You don't make 'em like you used to, @Apple .

Chicken Soup for the Soul was so fucking unhinged. I guess they are still around but the 1990s/early 2000s marks the peak of their increasingly funnier expansion into markets like "working women" and "the entire dental team."
