Today we've launched a new requirement that all applicants must demonstrate how their research will address existing inequalities in health and social care as a condition of funding. Applicants will now be required to show how inclusion is being built into all stages of the research lifecycle. nihr.ac.uk/news/inclusion…

Dr. Jerome Mugisha doing the first Gas Insufflation Less Laparoscopic Surgeries [GILLS] in Uganda. They feel GILLS is better because clinical officers are not confident of giving GA and hence despite having the equipment did not do conventional laparoscopic surgeries.
