I’m working on revamping the main Smart Doll category page since the current one felt a bit overwhelming. shop.smartdoll.jp/collections/fi… The first category is “Best Selling” characters which updates daily at 7AM JST and reflects sales from our website, official retailers, and in-store purchases from the past 30 days. Starting next week, we’ll split the frontline into two groups: • Main Cast – characters that may sell out from time to time but will be restocked. • Cameos – characters that may or may not return once sold out. A customer recently asked me to highlight dolls that look “serious” or “badass,” so I’m wondering if mood-based categories would be useful. Would you like to see characters grouped by style, vibe, or personality? We also had a great suggestion today to add a feature on product pages showing “this character in other skin tones,” which we’re working on as well. Any other category ideas you’d like to see? #smartdoll

@SmartdollLand there are so many styles of drag, so its very difficult to do it “wrong” because there is no right vs. wrong here. drag is for everyone and is simply to have fun!

Morning folks! There are no drops planned for a while (working on pear drop preparations), so I thought I'd share some progress on the Smart Doll guy's body instead. Liu-sensei (who worked on Batgirl) is working on the development. So we are not going to make any magnetic pack lunch attachments (I will leave that to you creative folks and vendors selling vegetables), but do you want headlights by default? Or smooth by default and super cold headlight option busts later? Do note that everything you see here is super WIP and is quite a way off from release. #smartdoll

@SmartdollLand i lost my grandfather when i was 6, and then my grandmother when i was 9. more of my family has died to cancer than i remember. my childhood dog died to cancer, and so have countless friend’s pets. i would love to see the tshirt/hand getting made, even if i do not qualify.

Lemme work on the tee design suggested by My Lady Disdain and, in parallel, model the hand parts - then decide which to go with. We will also make the STL files for the hand parts and the tee design data available for free. Reflecting on the significance of this cause, I've decided to personally absorb the production costs. This means we won't sell the tee or the optional hand parts. Instead, we'll be offering them free to Smart Doll owners who are either battling cancer, have overcome it, or wish to support a loved one affected by the disease. Thanks as always for the dialog ;-)

That's it for this morning. I think this will be the last drop for a while as we need to focus on Anime NYC preparations. Probably no more drops until we get back from the US which will be late November. If you need a Smartie then nab her now as we will reduce the selection of frontline girls while we are away. Lots more goodies when we get back as the masks for Moon, Limitless, and more should be ready. The team on the ground will be working on the Pear Bodies for the initial December release.
