WA HB-2321 if passed — July 1, 2027 no more 3D printers can be sold or transferred in Washington state unless they contain firearm and firearm parts blocking features.
Section 6 goes into detail about requiring the blocking in firmware and even slicers to have handshake code, likely to prevent existing and older slicers from being used.
If printer companies don’t comply, goodbye to 3D printing YouTubers in WA. 👋

What if we've been thinking about photonic computing wrong?
Photons excel at transport (no resistance, c velocity). Weak photon-photon interactions make logic hard.
Solution: Photonic TRANSPORT → Thermodynamic COMPUTE → Bacterial substrate for massive parallelism
Instead of capturing output, observe metabolic/expression changes in the substrate. The readout IS the effect.

They can handle mild criticism of Israel (because they have no choice), but they lose their minds when someone carries the discussion forward to whether Jewish American billionaires and the network of Jewish organizations have anything to do w/Congress being in lockstep on an issue which divides the public.
It’s a fraught issue, of course, and people of goodwill should understand why Jews get twitchy when any question of split loyalty is raised. But it’s not only a reasonable question, it’s a necessary one in an ostensible democracy where everyone can see that well-funded organized minorities make a mockery of one man, one vote. As usual, Trump is very useful in this regard, and simply brags in public about how much he does for Israel to earn the money of Miriam Adelson. The issue is not Jewish individuals, but organized Jewish political activism blatantly on behalf of a foreign nation. Nick seems to disagree with me on that (if I’m not mistaken), and if so I disagree with Nick. Jewish voices - @ComicDaveSmith, @normfinkelstein, @JeffreyASachs, and others - have led the way opposing this at great personal cost, and for a long time were voices in the wilderness while most Gentiles were cowed into silence by the kind of gutter politics of personal destruction we’re seeing used against @TuckerCarlson today. @NickJFuentes, whatever you think of him, is simply giving the Israel First crowd a taste of the medicine they’ve been spooning out for decades.
Either way, this is a real issue, and everyone knows it, including the people demanding that it not be discussed. It would be one thing if our slavish devotion to Israel manifested in diplomatic support and a few billion a year in foreign aid, but our unconditional support for Israel’s belligerence in the Middle East has put us in a long-term state of war, or near-war, with countries with whom we have no natural cause for hostility. We’ve killed people, and Americans have been killed, over this.
