Well…this was a Tuesday night commute home I won’t soon forget.
Currently in a shelter-in-place zone but home is fine. Seeing the remains of the aircraft on fire from the Waterson Expressway was surreal.

It is sad to see a park, even SFAM be shuttered. At least park fans did fulfill one final send off.
But after legacy SF’s reckless spending in early 2000’s followed by poor leaders & decades of neglect, this loss comes as no surprise.

@RCXcyclopedia Even while I was there, you could very quickly see why the park was chosen as the one to go. Yes, it is saddening for those who got into parks, live e, etc cause of SFA. But thanks to decades of underinvestment and leaders who care, this is the result.

@RCXcyclopedia I went in July for my first and only visit, thankfully right before Batwing chose to exit the chat. Like your visit, the park was certainly not busy at all. But also, the place just felt tired, the attractions weren’t in the best overall appearance.

Way too little, too late. Those ppl should’ve held those signs and spoke up long ago. Maybe actually supported the park too. It was the deadest park I’ve ever been in when I went in July.

@coaster_nate Plans may have either been altered or shifted around due to ongoing trade issues from non-U.S. based suppliers. If contracts haven’t been signed, then those additions are subject to tariffs which is adding to the already inflated costs.

Skyrush-back left; go left at park open & far back (by Wildcat) to start day at Hershey. El Toro-second to last row, hit Flash first at GADV. KD-just hit low capacity rides first (4D & Mack Bobsled).
