.NET dev friends - I'm exploring what would make great starter templates for .NET + AI, both called from the `dotnet new` CLI and in @VisualStudio. What would you like to see? A simple chat UI seems like an obvious choice, but what else would be helpful?

@steven_wangler @garrytrinder That surprises me - we don't expect any breaking or unsupported changes between 17.7.3 and 17.7.5 - what happened?
English

@garrytrinder Lol it’s not a Visual Studio problem, it’s was a me problem. I was on 17.7.3 and upgraded to 17.7.5. However, that meant that my current version of Teams toolkit wasn’t supported anymore, so I had to upgrade everything :)

Team Toolkit 5.0 pre-release is amazing. I was able to use my existing Azure resources as well as plug in my own Ngrok. Thanks to @aycabs for sharing the sample dashboard. Below is a screenshot of the dashboard I have created.#TeamsToolkit #MicrosoftTeams #Microsoft365dev

English

@marknadig @aycabs They both use ngrok for tunneling to allow debugging, but in VSC we depend on the npm package to do it automatically. In VS, its more obvious and manual. We're working to support VS dev tunnels which will be smoother.

@CetinKaanTweets Great! I work on the product team for Teams Toolkit. Would love to chat more with you about your experience and Teams development. My DM is open if you are willing to chat more about it. 🙏

@mckee_jb @ujjwalscript Customization and extensions. I'm mostly working with developing Microsoft Teams apps and there is a great extension that makes my life much easier called Teams Toolkit. There are many other extensions for other technologies as well.
English

@svrooij @pierceboggan Does that help solve what you want to do?
English

@svrooij @pierceboggan The recommended approach is to instead check if the API you want to use `isSupported`. Check out this for more info: #differentiate-your-app-experience" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsof…

@tommygeorge Did you run `npm install` or press F5 in VS Code first? Let me know if you still had issues after that.
