@rob_siglio I think the average person doesn’t understand the calculation where it’s a year over year and the reality was last year was crazy high. So technically we are a little higher off a crazy high which is still not great for living.

I'm seeing a lot of celebration about the headline inflation number. The fact is, the cost of living is still very expensive in the GTA/Ontario/Canada. A lower inflation print doesn't mean things are getting cheaper. They're getting more expensive at a slower rate.

@Eli_Albrecht This does not surprise me at all. The people who go into branches certainly hit the vent diagram of SMB owners who could be selling now.

I just heard a story about a buyer of an SMB requesting bank statements from a seller. Buyer kept waiting, checking his email, and still no bank statements. A week later a FedEx package filled with 5 years worth of bank statements arrives at his door. SMB acquisitions are a whole different universe.
